Why did some EWA'S steal the tools off the trucks when they left? Almost every hand tool is gone off my truck, meters are gone, drills gone, just crap tools left. I expected better from management ewa's.

I don't know why you picket monkeys are worried about tools anyway. You evidently didn't use them much. You don't need many tools to sleep in your trucks in the back parking lot of some third world apartment sh--hole. The freeloading welfare residents knew what you were doing. They didn't like it. They told us. They appreciated we actually worked. You F's don't know what real work is.
Who was the douche that had his radio presets to power 99 FM, 96.5 the okidoke, 103.7 Baltimore ravens radio, etc.

Because, numbnuts, when we got there we had to scramble to find tools because you crooks took them when you walked out. Look at your "brothers" for answers to this one
I'm real glad it ended before the real scabs showed up in force. We had a couple of fiber splicers in that were real scum. They knew damn well what they were doing, why, and they truly didn't give a damn. They walked off their old jobs to make a little more money scabbing, so it's not even like they had no jobs and we're just trying to feed their kids. They were mercenaries plain and simple, and I'm glad the union have them hell.
When I say they were scum, I mean that if I had somehow met them outside the confines of work and had no idea about their backstory, I'd still try to walk on the opposite side of the street as them. They were all tatted up, looked like basics of hygiene eluded them, and otherwise resembled possible sex offenders.

You dickwads walked off the job. Your former truck now became MY truck. I stripped all the old crap off my truck that wasn't needed. If you wanted it, you should have taken it. You can find your crap in the dumpster. My super wanted everything inventoried on my truck on my last day so the tools were there when I left. Some picket monkey probably took it for crack money.
Fair Play at my location....seemed all the tools were there, but a lot of tech's actually buy their own tools and equipment. bags, tool belts, tool boxes even drills and ect. The EWA's grabbed them from all different trucks, and lockers so it was a nightmare trying to get everybody's tools back to the correct owners.
Hey, it was to be expected....No big deal....And if something went missing, it was minor and most likely an accident....I don't think the EWA's needed any of those tools anyway, they all seemed to be decent respectable people, absolutely not thieves.
Glad it ended before the real scabs arrived......because It was going to get real ugly.
We were instructed to remove the tools from the vans and truck along with the Spirent, Exfo, Sumitomo splice kit, belts, vests, helmets, drills, butt sets, and other like equipment. They were all turned into the garage managers. I purposely made sure everything was safely stored, had fresh batteries, a full charge. The van had a full tank of gas, I removed most of the trash, and filled it up with consumables and a variety of STBs, ONTs, and power supplies.
My worst crimes were that I left a pair of dead batteries in the back, the spool of ground wire was a bit low, and I changed most of the radio presets. I couldn't help that I had to take the man's job but the least I could do was at least leave his van in better condition than I received it.
Oh, I also parked it right up front so he wouldn't have to go searching for it. He also gained a shovel .

If tools are missing today then either YOU took them, or the garage super did. We did an inventory when we left. Sounds like you just got caught stealing from your employer to me!
At least they didn't leave doo doo in the truck like some of the Union members.

The EWA played some tricks. One CO had all locks in lockers crazy glued and soy sauce sprayed into every locker. My CO was stupid crap. High school stuff--changing res on screens. Leaving them unplugged. Also screwed around with my JDSU but I think that one was from ignorance.
Sorry about the missing tools, you can just use the ones you have been pilfering for years.
I guess serious questions arn't taken to we'll here. Actually my hard had is gone, too. I have my own tools at home, don't need the company's, nor would I jeopardize my employment for a three dollar screwdriver. I am serious, they pretty well cleaned the tools out of the trucks.
The garage I was at had us do inventory over the Memorial Day weekend.. So all your equipment is there.. Also when EWA's did training last year we were given 2 big bags of tools which had to be left there prior to us leaving, we also had to leave our vests and hard hats there that were also given to us at training... So why don't you ask your managers where the stuff is...

Nice try OP. Everything was left as it should be. Now, once you and your buddies got back and promptly lifted the tools to sell at a Pawn Shop to try and recoup some of the lost wages, I'm sure they are missing now. Also, you can't work without tools, so we know by YOU stealing them, you can sit around and do nothing for a bit longer. Nice try, but we know how you union crooks work.
And there were 5 others in the same boat, it wasn't isolated. There were 8 trucks leaving the garage every day, 6 of them were stripped of tools. I am trying to figure out what someone is going to do with a Sidekick?
