f. Regional Associate Mobility Plan – Bargaining will continue over the RAMP

process through a committee after ratification.

b. Meetings – Within 90-days of contract ratification, a meeting comprised of

the Vice-Presidents of the different business units and the Director of Labor

Relations along with six representatives from the union including the

District Vice-President will be held. The topics for the meeting include

training, productivity, performance requirements, forced overtime,

performance feedback, scheduling issues, and monitoring. Subsequent

meetings may be scheduled to ensure continued progress on resolving

these adverse workplace issues.

I will be at my job 6/1, I just have concerns. I don't like to suffer this much for an incomplete contract. We were out of a long time, I just want to be sure we aren't the ones getting screwed behind the scenes or after the fact (2011).

so if this is a win for the union, what exactly was won? i mean, we kept much of what we had, and the raise really is a normal yearly 'thing' we get anyway, so what was actually won? it appears we won the fight to keep what we have, but that's a wash...at the end of the day, it appears we lost by having to pay more for benefits that will cover less, the company has the ability to downsize thru buy-outs and bring in lower tier employees (less protection/no pension), and transfer calls to centers they can't now.

if we had 12 regressive items on the board and defeated all but 3, it's a wash for the 9 and a loss for the 3.

we stayed out for 7 weeks for what the company wanted to gain all along

The way things have been going I'd trust them on this one...New York Times Today called it a great deal for the Unions, and it has been called a "Very Rich" deal for the Unions in other news agencies. Some business experts have called a Victory for Labor in the US.
