OP: The fact of the matter is that the EWA management employees do make a lot of money on average; they are in jobs that pay significantly more than the union jobs.
Then, with all the 1.5x and 2x pay they made a LOT of money. Taking home $10k or more per paycheck during that timeframe is like working a $half-a-million job during that 7 weeks.
Instead of being jealous of it, go out and get a degree and get yourself into a leadership job so you can make more money like them. If you aren't willing to do that, then whining about it makes you look low class.

Pay no attention to them . Most living outside the north east aren't making what they claim. The money looks good to them for a reason. Some make less than your base here. Trust me. Just check out glassdoor or any other job recruitment site. Verizon doesn't pay well. Actually below average which is why its retention rate is low. What some EWA's have going for them is that they live in lower cost of living areas. I know it pisses them off to think that Fios tech here can make well into 130-140k with OT. All that and they don't take the job home every night with them.
