So the call sharing agreement, increased healthcare contributions, healthcare plan design changes, adopting Medicare Advantage for retirees, limits on post-retirement healthcare costs, freezing the mortality table for pensions, and the ability to offer buyout incentives are all that the company got in concessions through this whole God awful experience?

I don't the company got any concessions at all though. Don't know what you're reading but the union drove this home!

Seems to me that the strike really wasn't worth it for VZ. The company did get concessions, but are they enough to justify the strike? I'm thinking it was wasted money and headache for the company, and they pretty much gave the union what it wanted. I'm not seeing the justification.

Don't, know yet. The bums at 827 have not released a summary of the contract yet for their members. Every local had theirs yesterday.
