Why aren't we patient to be sure the contract is what we expect? VZ has already sent everyone home awaiting our return. We have leverage to finish all negotiating RIGHT NOW.
I know the process, but no one has yet talked about our losses. There have to be some. It isn't healthcare, that is the same for everyone everywhere. So what did we lose?

None of us get to go home until Thursday. We are still doing installs and trouble tickets today just like normal. Looking forward to going home though. And I can't even begin to say how proud I am of the work we've done during the strike. Our customer surveys have been twice what they normally are, and our productivity is 60% higher than normal. So we've done our best to serve our customers and to leave things in a good state for our fellow union employees to return to. We aren't perfect, but I know we've given 100% every day we've been here. Hopefully when you return you will see the backlog isn't nearly as large as you anticipated and we can all just get back to normal and work together as one team.
Yep. My EWA husband is still stuck fixing DSL. They will not be sent home until VZ knows how many are going back to work. So please go back. We are all tired of this, regardless of the extra money.

Yep, I get to be paid to sit in a room tonight waiting to be sure the "associates" bother to show up. I'm hoping they don't.
