The call center job security is not as big as people are saying, just a year. If it was a big strike point why is it worth just 1 year. I smell a sellout.

What, you morons didn't actually read your contract?
The call centers are not unionized
I smell a troll
This language is only in NY agreement.
Right because Verizon can't make percentages happen to get what they want. Sure. The 40,000 of is are absolutely able to ensure that....
You know that information from a tentative agreement, not yet a contract.
Why wouldn't we trust VZ right?
YOU DON'T READ
Job security protections will be extended to all call center workers through
June of 2017. Thereafter, those protections will be extended if the company
does not meet the agreed percentages in the call share agreement.
Where listed about closing of call centers in 2017, reading local tentative agreement does not mention closings
What did VZ gain? They didn't just roll over and get some cost savings from salaries and benefits. Not when they were trying to close call centers and move the work force around to save hires. What are our losses?
We can't be dumb enough to believe we had none.
It doesn't matter what you vote. As far as the union is concerned, the contract is already ratified. You are delusional and naive if you think that your vote matters because it doesn't.
Don't go home yet scabbies. Lowell will be sending graduation videos of you kids to your NoGo90 account.
I agree. These "contract talks" are not public enough nor clear enough for me to feel that this is a good contract. I'm voting NO! Somebody is trying to pull a fast one on us.
Read very closely. Do you think VZ just rolled over?
You guys still haven't figure this out yet? Pathetic. oh it's about saving middle class jobs and stopping the corporate greed. NOT! Don't forget to send your money to your awesome union thug boss. They seem to know what they are doing.
