Local 2108 is informing its members that when putting the agreement to paper negotiations began to fall through. There will be an announcement tommorow morning that will detail the breakdown of what is happening. Verizon says that details about the agreement are not being released at the unions request. Verizon is already putting a hold EWA's booking plans.

BS! Source? Also, all of verizon e-mails to its employees are saying to tentatively prepare for a Wednesday return. Also, why is coming together on terms and not getting 100% of what you want being a sellout? It's called being realistic and understanding the economic climate, etc. Your leadership, which you voted in, probably understands this best; however, I still wouldn't trust a union member or rep with anything.

Exactly. When you have truly won a historic victory you not only announce it you share the details with your members immediately. The secrecy, resetting the unemployment clock by sending us back before we see any details, the timing of the strike from the outset to have this crucial unemployment juncture expire over a long holiday weekend, the press releases shouting big gains, the shotgun-in-the-face RTW call without the protection of a grace period, the falsehoods proclaiming we wouldn't return to work without a contract. It goes on and on and on. We're looking at a union sellout fiasco of epic proportions. This isn't 2011, this is worse than 2011.
