We were used to get the union 145 new wireless members under contract. We went for 7 weeks without pay so the union could get a foot in VzW. I don't think I've ever been more infuriated in my life.

There's got to be a lot more to this. CWA shelled out roughly $48M from the fund during the strike. That amount equals one whole year of dues from the entire East Coast. And all of us know that they are not a charity...
Lowmac did not benefit. He forced a strike that was not necessary. Killed the company's reputation and employee espirit de corp, and told ALL employees that it is idiotic to have any loyalty to Verizon.

Really, you have never been more infuriated in your life. You must not have kids. Just think of the powerful effect a strike would have if we had the wireless side. It's a step in the right direction. Not sure what you did with your time off, I loved it, you can always make money.
Yes, that's about it. We go out for they get more dues.
