Old offer was complete garbage with no promise to hire any union jobs and no deal for wireless workers and no deal to reduce contracting. This deal is nothing like the last one you dumb f---. And the unimportant thing is the .5% raise you f---&n idiot the extra year with job security is !!!!!!
"You should probably read the agreement before you post again."
Where can the rest of us mere mortals read the agreement in question? Please advise.
@anf: You are mistaken about the pension. There is indeed a 30 year cap in the new agreement. You should probably read the agreement before you post again.
You bkind F---ing idiot!
There's NO 30 year cap on pensions.
There's 3% pension increases
there's no additional outsourcing
8 offices set to close on the LBF offer are not closing
3% raise now, 2.5% more in 2 months.
No forced long term, long distance transfers.
Union pushed back successfully on nearly all bad terms.
wow .5% maybe you can make up the last seven weeks of lost wages on .5% asswipe/ also may 6th Verizon had a contract drawn up that states no movement of employees that was may 6th. it is the same contract. so blow me
@rgj: There is a cap on the pensions at 30 years in the new agreement.
And the extra raise is simply the 4th year increase kicking in.
This is the LBFO with an extra year attached.

What about the wireless part? Seemed to forget that
7.5 over 3 years is 2.5 a year. Which in theory would mean a 4 year deal should be 10 percent. But yet we got 10.5. To me that seems a lil better. But hey im no math wiz
Same deal ? Isnt 4 years of no layoff better then 3 years no layoff The other deal had verizon hiring union employees ? Didnt see that. This deal has us getting profit sharing through whole contract the lbfo didnt. Thats weird the more i think about this contract the more it is nothing like the last one.
