Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Bend Over

Push slightly while Dennis G. does you and whispers from behind your back how good it is.

We went out for the wireless workers? Those are the "big gains"?

What did we get beyond Wireless? If what we got is basically the status quo your crowing on and on about with cost-of-living increases WE GOT ROYALLY SCREWED by Shelton and his butt nuggets Mooney and Trainor.

STFU man and show us the BIG GAINS beyond wireless. Put up or shut up.

Somebody gave you bad information about the pension cap. There is indeed a 30 year pension cap in the new agreement. However, if they had to give on something that's better than some of the other choices.

F---ing idiot!

There's NO 30 year cap on pensions.

There's 3% pension increases

there's no additional outsourcing

8 offices set to close on the LBF offer are not closing

3% raise now, 2.5% more in 2 months.

No forced long term, long distance transfers.

Union pushed back successfully on nearly all bad terms.

" Just like the long strike to get closed shop."

I wasn't a part of the '71 strike but getting a "closed shop" was a smart move in the long run. We wouldn't have survived this long without it IMO.

Yep, more union dues for Chris and company. Just like the long strike to get closed shop.
