The organization got hurt from this STUPID fight and they see more PAIN over the horizon as the storms build in the mid west and as the SCABS fail to repair and add service, Also supervision is desperate and upper management certainly doesn't know what to do...Verizon Anti-American Branding is having an effect as well. and other organizations are commenting about Lowell. Service that is currently down and out without any idea when it will come back and the lack of new installation, a bad storm that knocks out even more will be spine breaking for Verizon. AND now that the scabs and EWA's know we are coming back, all work is stopped. SO they need us back asap and no one should go in until the details are agreed and placed IN WRITING. Oh and one last detail the following personnel changes. Reed, Shammo, and Mc Jackass nee to be fired... That fuking jack assLowell fuking changed things for me, i used to be a very hard working rah rah give it my all go way beyond my scope to get the work done, well he can kiss my big fat fuking ass Its over, Days of company loyalty are GONE We are being led by stupid people wasting company time, money and resources, these drunken sailors could fix anything with the kind of money the company is making and so could you so sometimes bad mistakes are hard to see but this stupid figh,t with loyal hard working, smart and thankful employees was A BIG MISTAKE, just like CEO Lowell is.. Remember they are selling off the largest Public Utility... Its like free money, thats easy to do... Anyway Lowell needs to GO and take that stupid midget Reed with you..

The company was definitely a better place to work for prior to McAdam's take over. I doubt that any of the low-to-mid level management who worked for Seidenberg's version of Verizon would disagree.
As for the strikes...they started long before '89. Check out the one from 1971 when you've got nothing better to do.
What many people fail to understand is that strikes are a part of normal life in an unionized environment. Companies will always attempt to take more, and the workers will push back if they have a chance. So every now and again there will be a strike. More often than not things will go back to some level of normality. But not always.
Its a good job becasue of the Union CWA, Its a bad company becasue of what dick fuks like you and Lowell want to turn it into. The union has way more love for the business than you.

Ok, so you sound like you really hate Verizon... So why don't you just quit and move on? If you are just staying for the benefits/retirement I would recommend you just quit now because with your anger issues and stress level you are not going to be around to enjoy your retirement...
