Call for a special assessment and require each Member to pay $500 (which they can take from their signing bonus) to get the ball rolling.

I started in 1972 and it was not there. Someone told me it was given up in 1971, the big long strike. The C&P companies had it all along, not sure about PA/DE.
A serious question from a CWA-represented NY technician to my IBEW brothers and sisters working in NJ:
When was the "Sunday as a part of the regular work week" nonsense pushed on you? Does anyone remember?
IBEW voted down a member relief fund years ago because the members felt they could save on their own while paying less dues. If they can't manage to save $10 a week for 3 years that's their own fault.
