Regardless of who you think won, I'm the actual winner given how much money I made working the strike. Easiest $$$ I ever made.

@nnc Do you realize how many fiber carriers are at every cell site? Go to any cell site and see how many are collocated there. T-Mobile is running fiber to the cell towers they are on so they don't need Verizon. American Tower is the largest owner of cell towers and they use 3 carriers and none are Verizon. Crown Castle is the second largest owner of cell towers and they own their own fiber company. Google has it's own fiber to their data centers. Zayo has more fiber to data centers than anyone.

While they can't get all that data from wireless they sure don't need Verizon especially since all other carriers are cheaper. Who's pretty d-mb now.

Agreed, but this "win" made medical costly and, without funding, removed from retirement.

Bottom line for the naive. This was all planned between the union, company and Perez. The outcome of this contract is what was agreed upon from at least the last contract. 90% 0f the workers have 20 plus years and after this contract and the next they will be gone and the union will be essentially obsolete. Big rich corporations and individuals think long term. They build wealth over time and are not into instant gratification. This plan has been in play since the 80's. Wake up people!

Clearly this was an attempt to Union bust. and it probably cost more than a billion, But even more damaging, and costly, it cost Verizon deeply with the public. Their Name brand was tarnished, and has taken huge hit with this, That is something Lowell McAdam will forever have in his legacy as CEO of Verizon.

I love how the Union claims victory, yet they don't even know what is in the contract yet. It could be worse than what they had, and most likely is. But the Union is going to spin it as a victory either way. Keep drinking the Union Kool-aid.

He has managed to drive down union membership and get a new contract agreed on that isn't any better than what was there before. That's probably exactly what he's wanted to do.

I agree, Lowell is an evil bastard and he will forever be hated like no other verizon CEO to date. I didnt like him before, now his picture just totally disgusts me. Look at mr. Don knotts aka lowell mcadam and forever remember that is the guy who tried to impoverish us and our immediate families so he could make 24 million instead of just his paltry 18 million.
