"Contact in Principle" so now what?

So the U.S. Labor Secretary stepped in and got both sides to agree on an agreement in principle. Not the same as a contract. So what happens if the union members don't ratify the 'principle'? Can the union make its members return to work even if the members don't like the proposals one they get all the details? Just wondering.

doesn't matter if you vote no or not. Your union heads, who only care about themselves and sold you out, will pad the ballot box to make sure it passes. You fought hard for them to win only.

We will be forced back without a contract. As long as there is no language in the return to work agreement that doesn't allow it, we will go back out if we don't ratify.

Well, we get to vote on the contract as a whole, not on "the principle". Will we get to see the entire thing prior to the vote? I highly doubt it.

Union will present its "talking points". I take them with a grain of salt and listen to my instinct when the time for casting the vote comes. To each their own.
