What a great thing this strike is! If I read this site correctly, union members are flush with savings and pride, get a great holiday weekend with the family, and some even get uneloyment starting next week. EWAers continue to bank huge checks while at craft fantasy camp, get the weekend off, and get holiday pay Monday. Contractors get to make rediculous cash. Customers are happy. Union Bosses and VZ EXECS continue to live lives as if nothing is going on. WINNING!!!

Well, I don't think you can bring VZ down with you. And if you drive customers away - you sure as hell not going to have a job. Things change... Have you noticed the food rices going up? Why dont you starve and hold a picket lines in front of grocery stores demanding a lower price? They make profits, so you are entitled to tell them what to do with their money. Why don't they lower their margin and give all people a break?
Comcast workers get paid a lot less, get crapier benefits and most installs and fiber splicing is outsourced to the contractors. That gives them a competitive advantage. Also, Comcast CEO makes twice as much as Lowell... You want to tell the company what to do? Then buy a stock a vote.

Lol so true!! Realizing the call center are running better than they ever did when the union was sh--ting all over the place and the field work is getting better by the day. This is amazing watching the largest union break in history happen before my eyes and it couldn't have happened to a more deserving union!
