A family member called me yesterday looking for help because his small business and livelihood stopped dead in its tracks becasue the Philippians customer service agent told him that June 30 would be the soonest they could schedule him for repair... Way to go Verizon executives.. So he switched over to Comcast. they are out their TODAY, TODAY getting him phone service. He called me support so I directed him to a company more worthy that VZ. Stupid Verizon Management Strikes are for kids.

It's not important that a landline customer generating negative cash flow leaves for a competitor, in my opinion. If it were a wireless customer producing high margins a, I would feel very different. Landline business is just not a promising business to remain in. That is why Verizon is indifferent to the strike, it's not part of their future. By the way, I think this story was made up anyway. If true, the customer was going to switch anyway and might be a chronic switcher that changes providers every year
Time Warner Cable is cleaning up in New York with their ads for fast installation turn-arounds by 'qualified' installers.
Fake story. Repairs are being scheduled in the next day or two or earlier if emergency. Even new installs are available in a reasonable time frame.
This story can't be true. Everybody knows the scabbies are way faster and smarter than the union people. I heard everyone in the garage is fighting over install and repair tickets because they don't have anything to do.
And I wish those darned customers would just leave Verizon alone so Lowell can make his $18M a year in peace. Geez! How rude!
Fewer union slugs needed, YEA.
Cut your nose to spite your face fools.

I would do the same.
WOW! OMG! You should be so proud! Thanks for sharing! What a great family member you are!
