Honestly, good for you UZI. On my end, ill confess that it really doesn't matter how long the strike goes on, but family must always come first. In short, one must do what is best for their family, no exceptions. In the end, most brothers and sisters would have to understand that.

Although it does appear the company and the union may never come to terms (the Washington DC meetings are a complete debacle it appears), it doesn't mean some of you guys won't get to come back. It may not be in the union, but it would be surprising (and foolish ) if the company didn't contact all the top performers and ask them if they wanted to come back.
