You walked away some of the best paying jobs in middle class USA and you're not coming back. I'm not encouraging anyone to cross. Already too late for some of you to do that. And every day more slots or added to that list. Eventually you will try to come back only to be told that, assuming you had satisfactory attendance and assuming word on any disciplinary warning and assuming your last review was satisfactory, you'll be placed on a preferential rehire list. So go-ahead, reply with scab scab riff riff or whatever other nonsense make you feel better. The only thing of importance today is that this is when you should start looking for a new drug.

And I think alot more than that have already completed training. The rumor I heard is that the replacement workforce is increasing by roughly 200-300 per day. So including everyone already deployed, in about another month the company will be staffed fully (fully as defined by executive management). So, I believe that is the reason for the June 30 date for EWAs to start going home that has been widely circulated. In my opinion though, it will probably take until August or so for the company to be back to normal as it will probably take a month or two after reaching full staffing levels for everyone to be moderately productive.

Guys and gals, I wish we would all stop with this silliness and take things more seriously. I am not a union member, but I can see what's going on within the company. It is painfully obvious that the company is fully prepared to move on without any associates. Yes, there will be some short-term pain and yes, it will take a few more months until there are enough contractors and new hires in place for Verizon to be BAU, but the company is prepared for that and OK with it. So, I just don't think there's any motivation on the company's side to really negotiate much further, so it's kind of a take it or leave it scenario and even that option appears as though it could be coming off the table soon. The DC negotiations are simply buying more time for the new hires to get up to speed. Im not trying to stir the pot or scare people, etc. (as these are people's lives we are dealing with), but the current direction things are going is impossible to ignore.

OP, that is kind of you to provide the answers to the Union sheep. Unfortunately, they will not take it to heart. Now, I have to be honest. I believe that 7% of the Union Herd do possess the ingredients to execute your strategy. However, the remaining 93% will continue to swim in circles like frogs in a pot over a hot fire. It would require to much effort and unable to sustain being held accountable for one's own actions or lack of.

it's going to be a long summer. Contractors will be marching in. Call centers will be slowly relocated. EWA will be returning to BAU and be back filled with new workers in other territories.
