Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

What are the details.

Was it worth losing 7 weeks pay or more? I want to know what we're getting and what we are losing. I'm worried. Mediation is usually not a good thing.

EWA here. We are caught up on core I&M and starting to do a lot of FIOS installs. New contractors are showing up daily and most of them actually know what they are doing. We have learned and improved a great deal. So, we can handle it for now.

P.S. Thanks for your respect in VA and DC.

If the was 'winning' this little war, there would not be any mediation. VZ blew it and was never in control of this strike. The underplanned and undertrained. Now the service and installation end is totally out of control. Customers are not happy and their investments in Go90 and aol are not working out as planned. The stike will also likely cost VZ its bid to buy Yahoo.

Lowmac and Barney Rubble wanted to break the unions. It looks like the unions have broken lowmac and Barney Rubble.

Lol morons. It's funny but sad to watch them realize they f---ed up but hold strong to save face. Broke as hell, that feeling of regret when they see someone doing their job,'making their money and some. At what point do they break? Who knows..stupid is as stupid does.

you will come back without a signed contract (one day less, i guess), you will sell out the inside folks, you will sell out rural techs to protect techs in urban areas (distance that can be moved). one day less; one day less!!!!

I understand the past Union brothers and sisters fought for us. Are we going to keep what we had or did we strike to lose pay for less than what we had.

Tell that to your union brothers and sisters that fought for you in past strikes.
