Who's pretending? You have no clue what the last couple of years in my shop were like. I was about to go out - and stay out for quite some time - when the strike was called.

It's called "retire". I'd prefer to get in a couple of more years under reasonable conditions. If we are brought back with a junk contract, I'll gladly put my papers in.

Copper cable feeding cell tower down, 2 weeks now no service. Please settle this, no other service in this area. I talked to 2 guys from texas looking in green box by road, had a black case that looked like a waffle on the outside. They got the bolts out but couldn't open so they left and now the whole street is out of service. That was 2 days ago, i called back in and after 1 hr wait they told me there was a strike and there wasn't anyone available that works on those old cables to fix it.

You do realize that when you are collecting un employment you are expected to actively look for work?

The expectation is that is your full time job. Not walking in a circle and tooting horns.

I just got my approval for mass unemployment let the strike go on its gonna be a good summer unemplyment and mass health life is good!

Vz is going to run out the clock and have people cross little by little. Between the crossing scabs and contractor scabs they will enough workforce to keep things a float.

The remaining union will be small enough to drag to bathroom and drown in the tub.

In defense of the OP - I think it was good they posted it. Finally something that isn't a made up rumor or union propoganda about "it's over on xx/xx date". This at least had some explanations of terms, and speculation about an end date. Thank you for posting.

Pretty please, don't come back. Our company is such a better place to work without the unions. The rest of us are tired of carrying you around like so much dead weight.
