Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

HEY CWA CALL CENTER SLOBS! GET READY TO HATE YOUR LIFE ONCE THIS STRIKE IS OVER......

Scabs are pissed off and devising all sorts of ways to "streamline processes" and "improve efficiency"! Do you forget that most of the scabs are managers themselves? Oooh it's gonna be good when you get back. They'll be jamming productivity numbers so far down your throats you're gonna pray they close your center and send your JERB to Manila. No pension is worth that pain. Shelton is trying to screw you. Don't be deceived. Put your little horns and whistles down and go find gainful employment. Your family will thank you.

@lkn if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck. Therefore, if it acts like sh--, and smells like sh--, then it's sh--. And trust me, all you union workers are definitely sh--.

Oh don't worry they'll get you slobs a contract. Shelton and lolz McAdam are working on that now. No one will be happy with it and all you'll be left with is lost wages, a pile of medical bills, and a sh--ty, high pressure job to go back to. No pension is worth all that. Go collect your unemployment you union bums. You're gonna need it.

@bwq. Well, I'm sure you're very skilled at handling and holding a tool! From all the handjobs you give your "brothers" after picket duty, I would say you're a tool handling champ!!!

yeah, you sure need to go out on stress because your supposed manhood was challenged when that 98 lb chick actually knew how to take a ladder off of the truck and hold a tool property. What a wuss.

Work? Driving around in circles with a 98 lb. management-chick riding shotgun, stopping at Starbucks, going to a customer location, telling them someone will be back, closing-out the job to cook-the-books, etc. is work?

Unlike you and the rest of your little mangy pack of union animals, I actually do have a job lol. And when your call center job is relocated and you're looking for a job at WalMart, hey I'll be your new boss. See how that works? I win, you lose.

@HAmkD2n-nbj I've said it before. They don't even need to ship these mindless call center jobs overseas to save money. Where goes your argument in that case? Just open a center anywhere in the middle of the US where wages and cost of living are lower. SUSTAINABLE MIDDLE CLASS JOBS CREATED. It's absolutely frigging ridiculous where some of the centers are.

SO BITTER. Get to work if indeed you are employed. 1day longer,1 day stronger. WORKERS WILL WIN-you will lose and be irrelevant shortly (actually now).

Unless you're like over 60, the very generous RIF package will only lead you to your local WalMart in an matter of months, where you can use your marketable skills and become a department manager for 40k.

Be careful what you wish for lol

We will take our very generous RIF package, and our EWA surplus and happily walk away. And leave you worthless lazy fuktards to figure out all the new process and streamlined procedures were implementing lol. It's so nice being educated and experienced so that we aren't chained to a job like a performing monkey. Enjoy your new world union scum hahahahahahahahahahaha

Why do you need first and second level managers to sit in on a conference call and watch GPS movements on a computer screen in the U.S, when one person can do that in India?

Oh that right, it's happening and will continue.

?Scabs are pissed off and devising all sorts of ways to "streamline processes" and "improve efficiency?

RIF about 10-20k useless, redundant office cubicle job management or "staff" positions out there and replace them with an HR firm that has it's employees in Asia.

The company has knows that for years. They don't need scabs to figure it out lol

Hey, it's already started. You're already hastening it with that attitude.

"Scabs are pissed off and devising all sorts of ways to "streamline processes" and "improve efficiency"!"

Correct. Call Center jobs will still be here, but first & second level managers will be monitoring & managing buy your post-RIF replacements in Bombay or New Delhi.
