Ya heard it here first boys.
I won't name my source but it came from the rank and file and it's happening. All but certain, and I for one am very glad.
I'll just look for another job within the next 2 years

I just heard the same rumor from my local
Same rumor in New York City. Let us wait until tomorrow night.
Are you taking your meds? everyone cares about money. Even if it is as you put it ia spec of dust on a balance sheet, so over simplified. People should talk common sense and logic.
Ain't happening. Verizon took that offer OFF the table after it was rejected. The only thing the union can agree to at this point is the one that was available prior to what they just rejected.
With that said, the union isn't smart enough to agree to either of the last two proposals. They truly don't understand that they are negotiating from a position of weakness due to wireline being so unimportant to Verizon and it's leadership. It's a speck of dust on their balance sheet that they couldn't care less about.
Sorry to the OP for exposing your story for what it is.
I for one welcome a lockout (unemployment) or leaving for another place of employment if Verizon doesn't give us a good contract or doesn't allow us to come back. No skin off of my back. I will never cross the picket line, so there you have it.
Verizon can say whatever it wants, Call the Verizon and are on hold for 1 hr, then ask for FIOS and see what they tell you, , installs are pushed way out.
On Friday, Verizon said that since the current strike began, the thousands of replacement workers it already deployed have “successfully resolved tens of thousands of repair dispatches, tens of thousands of inquiries in our customer service centers and have fulfilled thousands of new Fios orders.”
Nope, wont be back till the i's are dotted and t's are crossed, more to come fellas
A lot of people will have their 30 with a two year deal. I say a 3 year minimum.
Good or bad, I hear it's being agreed to tomorrow too
Definitely not rue. We meeting with company again on monday
I hope not. I don't know about you guys, but I don't want to do another 2 years calling and asking my manager if it is ok to do a #2 so I don't get QAR'd.
Whatever your mom whispers in your ear in between gulps is bullshite.
"I wouldn't be surprised....it's not that bad of a offer unless you work in a call center"
Or unless they want to force transfer anyone, sucks
I hope not. This place is falling apart, let's keep our foot on the neck

Which street? Not true at all.
