We met with the Mid-Atlantic unions today. The unions provided a proposal that was not constructive. We rejected their proposal. We reiterated that the unions have our last best final offer.

Verizon is like most other unamerican outsourcing corporations, you really cant tell them apart. The only difference between Verizon and a company like "Carrier" is that they didn't move their main company headquarters to Mexico "yet", but give it some time, they will try to do the same in order to continuously increase their bottom line at the expense of us all here in the US. I'm wondering what management will do when they start replacing them with H1B Visa replacements? Lol
Yes. You can try to get another job and find out only Verizon gives you the best benefits and pays based on your skillset. But it is too late for you, because you already quit and Verizon does no longer hire union employees anymore. You lose.

So, in your book, compromise, concession, and working together toward shared outcomes is the sole responsibility of the Union? If the union simply did what you're doing, you'd both be at impasse.
