without the CWA this job is not worth having

The only reason we have what we do today is because of past sacrifices of the CWA.

You see how the company treated you the past 16 months WITH a union, what do you think it would be like without one?

Send me all the letters you want, make all the fake "union member" posts you want on this board. Real union members know better.

And if there is anyone out there who is really so cowardly and worthless to cross the picket, then I say good riddance to you! Our Union will be stronger without people like you in it.

And if the union fails, (which it won't), then I will go get another job. Without CWA I would never want to work for Verizon anyway. I have read on this very board how non-union are treated at Verizon.

Non union employee here...why do you need the union when VZ has had more RIFS than VZW?

Times are changing...you have a good thing...good job, good benefits...stop looking for the utopia of the 90s in a world that is so drastically different. Evolve or become extinct. Stop messing this up.

So find a different company to work for if you hate Verizon so much.

Many employees won't last if this contract is implemented. They will ride them harder then they did before ,forcing them to quit. Look what happened after the 2011 contract. It was weakened, that serves as an example of what will happened to this offer. Their will be even more rif's and more contractors.

I agree with the previous poster. You will not have a job after this contract, everyone working today will be gone, that includes non management , management and union.
