Just drove past two wireless stores, no one picketing. Yesterday there were 2 people in front of the Wireless store on Route 23 North in Butler, today there is no one there but paying customers. Passed twice today while running errands, guess they either gave up or reported to work.48

Picketing only done at company owned stores.
How about those retailer stores? There are plenty of retailers in malls, in business plazas. Do these union employees dare to picket there?
Are you naive enough to think that the shareholders care that much about this strike? Our current stock price reflects the shareholder confidence. You guys are acting like you have so much room to bargain when you own a 10% stake in the books. Will this will be brought up at the shareholder meeting? Yes, but it won't be more than a quick blurb on the negotiation status.
@bhh..Are you naive enough to believe they can just grab replacement workers and get them up to speed in a week? The big shareholders might have something to say about that on the 5th. It sounds like a good idea to some, but it's impractical, I understand everyone is replaceable, but in this era of quarterly profits, investors won't stand for it. Company is making plenty of money with us, why screw w that.
I guess you didn't drive by the store in Hartsdale, Portchester of Rutherford.
there was a rally in jersey city today, sarcastic company schill. still not seeing the big picture though.
That's your opinion. Others are waiting for a union / company official comment.
Gee, sarcasm escapes some people. I know the union is still on strike but they have lost momentum in parts of NJ. The number of people picketing has diminished and the public don't care one one or another. The IBEW and CWA tried to hitch their wagon to Bernie and it didn't play out they way they expected. No one is talking about they strike in the news, he'll, the NY Times had only a small blurb. No mention about the "Big" demonstration at 540 yesterday in either the bergen record or star ledger. Six months from now the union will still be out and the membership will have lost, Verizon will have enough replacement workers to fill all the gaps.
if your too busy running errands to know if people went back to work or not, then you are not looking at the whole picture.
you either know whats up or you dont.
Just drove past Poughkeepsie store, plenty of picketers out front.
No word from union or company.
