Last night on my way home from work I saw Mark Reed and LowMac cruising down the road with their windows down rapping along to the music...

To the left, to the left

To the left, to the left (mmmmmm)

To the left, to the left

Everything you own in the box to the left

In the closet that's my stuff

Yes, if I bought it, please don't touch

And keep talking that mess that's fine

But could you walk and talk at the same time

And, it's my name that's on that jag

So come move your bags, let me call you a cab

Standing in the front yard

Tellin' me, how I'm such a fool

Talkin' 'bout, I'll never ever find a man like you

You got me twisted

You must not know about me, you must not know about me

I could have another you in a minute

Matter of fact, he'll be here in a minute, baby

You must not know about me, you must not know about me

I can have another you by tomorrow

So don't you ever for a second get to thinking

You're irreplaceable

@1gr we are all replaceable but it will take too long for Verizon to train and get all replacements up to speed. They will be too far behind then to catch up.

One BIG problem......Wall Street is not going to wait around for the Years it's going to take to get an entire new workforce up and running. 40,000 20+ year experienced staff replaced in a week? Keep dreaming while Wall Street puts the Hammer down.

Fyo - keep telling yourself that. They can and will afford to lose you. Somebody along the way steered you wrong in life. You are replaceable, they stand to make far more money in the future without you than with you. Sorry to break it to ya pal.

Your wishful thinking is screwing you out of a job.

"$1,000 a month"

LOL. Good luck finding a contractor who knows anything telecom-related for that sum. People will laugh from here to eternity.

"Truck & Tools ARE NOT provided – however you will need a minimum tool list and we will provide the list to you."

Adding insult to the injury part one...

"Must be able to pay for own meals and lodging for 10 days-"

Adding insult to the injury part two...

"This is STRIKE WORK. Minimum of 60-84 hours per week when authorized. Mobilization pay up to $1,000.00 IN & OUT to and from Market assigned. Daily Per Diem of $100.00 to $150 depending on Market assigned."

Part three...we expect you to work your butts off but won't pay you even a straight 40-hr week of one of our techs, and of course with no benefits...

Cheap ba$tards will remain cheap ba$tards...

$1000 a month for 60-80 hours a week? Are they serious?

The people they are going to get won't be qualified enough for months maybe even years. Verizon has no choice but to bring the Union back or lose thousands of customers
