I agree, this can not be tolerated. We should unionize against the union.

enough on dates and meaning of dates ... get the damn union leadership off their asses and working the problem. I have saved money and not in a bad spot but find this to be absurd ..... leadership keeps getting paid ... we don't .. maybe it should be that when a strike is called, leadership gets same pay we get .... NOTHING
There is a rumour about May 20th. But we can wait until the annual meeting May 5th and see what happens next.

They will, once they decide that the agreement reached is worth being presented to the membership. That's why we elected these folks to represent us in the first place.
So far they're doing a much better job than what we've seen in 2011, at least in my opinion.
Let them work.
Or, if you want to negotiate your own contract, resign from the union, cross the picket line and take it from there. It's really that simple.
