They are saying that Verizon have written off Q2, and will blame any bad decisions made during that time on the union/strike... The BoD will accept a one quarter hit. That means they don't care if this goes into June. Hope the strike fund is full enough to keeps us afloat...

They're not going back without a contract that is equal to or better than the one in place now. Verizon doesn't seem to understand that this isn't the fight of just CWA-IBEW, they're doing it for the entire labor movement since these companies have spiraled out of control. Lowell will go down in history as the CEO who hit the hornet's nest too hard.
I think egos will get in the way and this thing will go a few months.
