Do the EWAs suck at doing CWA work? Hell yes!
Are customers pissed and leaving in droves? Hell yes!
Does Lowell or the BOD care at all about wireline? Hell no!
The meeting this afternoon is to formally say goodbye to the CWA.

Not one of the customers I have serve has left asswipes
It's cool, if this gets dragged out any longer or if the company tries to get rid of the CWA, I have another job lined up. The companies loss, not mine.
Some of the tickets are really easy to resolve. Customers call customer service because they couldn't watch TV or the internet is very slow. But the real problem behind these are TV is broken, Fios box out of battery or poor signal from the basement. The real headache is those copper lines, most of them are located in old residential area and some of the areas are not very safe. The garages are lacking technicians with copper knowledges.
The EWA's do not suck.
For the easy stuff, they kick the Union's backside.
For the harder stuff, not as good.
They are keeping the wheels on.
If customer leave in droves, the dies. VZ will need far less of you.
Cut your noise to spite you face.
Does BOD care, you hit the nail on the head.
How long will our union buds be out? I have no clue, but it might be a while.

At their own demise do this and wireline and wireless customers will leave in droves. I hope you and your ilk get everything you deserve I WAS A CUSTOMER everyone I know and meet will be urged to leave Verizon. I have nothing to do with this strike but meeting these employees at the Verizon wireless store shed some light on this subject disgusting what this company is trying to do to their employees.
