Why Consumers Are Suddenly Down on Verizon

Why are the union people so hellbent on trying to find articles that trash Verizon? It's obvious how hellbent they are because in almost every post they either embellish or lie about the content of the article.
Some of the union people are like scorned ex-wives, completely pissed off and enraged. The level of emotion seems unbelievable to me -- Verizon is a big company that's no different than IBM, AT&T or most others (and I say that from experience because I've worked for all three). But union people are so freaking narcissistic that they can't seem to understand that not every decision or policy is about them and not every decision or policy was written specifically to screw them.
And the fact that the union folks can't understand the economics of a business that is diminishing and being replaced by newer technologies indicates that they have no clue about anything going on outside of their little cocoon.
To the OP: You might have missed the source for this survey. It was not Gartner or Nielsen or even a Money Magazine survey, as stated in you post. Instead, the source is "YouGov.com@ a website that allows anyone to become a panel member for free, in order to collect peoples’ opinions to earn points that can be exchanged for a variety of different rewards, including T-shirts, tote bags, gift cards, movie tickets, and sometimes even cash.
You must have not realized the review was similar to an Open Table or Yelp review. Amateur reviews basically.
I think that selling the FiOS franchises in Texas, Florida and CA was a great idea. The next step is to dump the NE and Mid Atlantic franchise areas. Let some other company try to deal with high content costs, high labor and low rev per customer along with Over The Top consumer preferences and shifting market behavior.
Verizon under LowMac's lack of leadership has become the poster child for the Ugly UnAmerican Company.
One thing they hate is damage to their precious vz wireless brand!
And the constant picketing is tarnishing their precious baby!
The brand damage alone will cost millions
I thought t shirt guy, go90 and millenials were going to fix everything? Dang I was lied to again!
Attempting to purchase failed assets as part of some hairbrained advertising stream is not a good business strategy on Verizon's part, better to stick what you know and what you are good at, telephone, video and internet services....
Everyone I ever talk to just complains about VZ Wireless. The girl cutting my hair today saw the red shirt and asked if I was on strike. When I said yes she says "Can I go on strike from my cell phone bill?" That's fine by me.
BOD need to get rid of the inept upper management from Lowmac down. They waste billions on AOL and GO90 etc. Had they invested this money in a fiber based landline network(such as FIOS) this company would be top dog. Instead they are going into digital media advertising and will fail. We are a dumb pipe (wired or wireless) provider and that's what we do best.
