I say the Union comes crawling back on Friday. It's almost a guarantee.

More Company trolls. The Northeast is Union strong. I can't speak to what MD is doing. If they do cross they are guaranteeing their own job loss sooner rather than later via outsourcing.
I'm going back to work Friday. Striking isn't going to improve things to the degree it did years ago and this job is better than most.
VA is right to work state. In PA and MD, unemployment is not eligible for those strikers during the strike. Strikers in NY can have unemployment benefits from the 49th day of strike. I don't know the other state. I suppose most of the Union employees in VA, PA and MD will cross this Friday, otherwise it is very hard for those paycheck by paycheck families live without any income except $200 a week from union.
25 came back to the Call Center in Richmond, VA today. They said more will follow by Friday. Some EWA workers got the day off today because there were no seats available for everyone.

Even if you buy your own insurance, they will only ask if you have been insured, but check outside of cobra if money is tight, cobra is high and doesn't cover the same as our current insurance.
Maybe we'll be ok.

You can receive cobra and stay out. Do you work in a call center? If so you might not have a job much longer if union loses
do not know for sure,
But if you come in on Friday, you do not need to worry about it.
