Verizon goes big on OpenStack NFV deployment

Coinciding with the OpenStack Summit in Austin, Texas, this week, Verizon (NYSE: VZ) announced that it completed what's believed to be the industry's largest known NFV OpenStack cloud deployment across five of its U.S. data centers.

Bob Mudge, executive vice president and president of Verizon's wireline network operations, told the Boston Herald that Verizon's new focus on 5G played a big role in deciding to build in Boston, saying the lightning-fast service requires a fiber backbone.

Watch Verizon knuckle under, they just need a fig leaf now to make it look like they won so Fearless Leader can save face at the Country Club.
We all know they wanted to break the Union, but there they go again, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
This is the dopiest year in recent memory for union busting. Verizon would be dangerous if they weren't so stupid.
If they "attack on all fronts ... months from now, years from now", how will union members pay their bills and eat for that duration? Y'all millionaires? VZ isn't going anywhere. They made there last and final offer and are sticking to it for all eternity. They don't care how long it takes. You guys need to realize that.
This stupid strike will bring Verizon to it's knees...CWA doesn't just go away, They will keep attacking on all fronts week's from now, Months from now, Years from now. They will never give up, That's a fact. Do you really believe they will just go away?
These little lowmac terds do nothing but waste money and weaken the company.
