I sure hope the rumor about Friday is right. I heard that some in the company are expecting the strike to go on several months -- that would be devastating to everyone, both union and non-union in my opinion.

I'm hearing the exact opposite, that the two sides aren't any closer today than they were in August. In fact, I'm hearing they are actually farther apart because prior offers have been pulled off the table.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think this is going to go on way longer than anyone wanted or anticipated.
I dunno every video and news story makes it seem like the EWA crew is not only suffering shell shock, but absolutely notm getting the job done at all. But no one can blame them for being inadequately trained. That falls squarely on the top execs.
When benefits end strike will end and CWA will tell you how much you won this. They spent their money on Bernie.

Yeah. They have a couple of firms looking to fill EWA jobs. Looks like word is getting out that this is not a place you want to come to work for. They don't care about anything but stuffing the pockets of the execs.
