So it's been covered that NY can get unemployment after the 4th day of strike, but what about other states? I'm in PA and wondering if it's possible. I did some research and it doesn't appear that we can, but then there were a few past cases with other companies where strikers got unemployment.
Anyone know for sure in PA?

MD is not right to work state.

It seems like somehow MD is as same as right to work state.

@vbw You can not get unemployment if your on strike in Maryland. Why would any state give unemployment when you walked off your job? Contact your UNION maybe they can give you some of those big Union dues they collect from you each paycheck.
I was wrong. MD is not a right to work either. However I have been told that you will not be eligible in PA.
PA is not a "right to work" state.
Having said that, neither CWA13000 nor 13500 websites offer any instructions on filing for unemployment that I've been able to see, so I'd presume that those benefits are not available to the striking workers in the given state.
PA, MD, VA are right to work states. You will not be eligible for unemployment during a strike.

Other states require you to work rather than beg. People who are out of work get unemployment. Not people who quit. And believe me, you have quit. The CWA is not coming back.
