Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Let me out of here

This is going downhill faster than anyone anticipated cancelling copper service calls, fios installs out more than a month less than 4 managers actually have any ability to correct issues and we are being beat up. The placement services cant find any qualified people to take our places and no end in site. I'm personally going to give it one more week if it doesn't change I will retire. Keep up the strike fellas you have them on the ropes.

alh , "I asked a guy the other day why CO Techs could not use eCOT to change a Cable/Pair like we can for OEs, he told me because it would put LDMS out of work"

" the other day" ? The union has been out almost two weeks, you must have been talking to a manage or replacement worker.

Full disclosure: I am a customer , Thursday I spent close to two hour s with phone support trying to get my FIOS repaired. Fourty-Five minutes on hold. I wouldn't call that a top performance.

@ZDN

I completely agree, I asked a guy the other day why CO Techs could not use eCOT to change a Cable/Pair like we can for OEs, he told me because it would put LDMS out of work. Really? If that is your only purpose what are you being paid for?

they want customers to cancel their copper accounts wake up people the company has been letting copper rot each cancel is a victory installs started up a week ago and the call volumes are down up to five minutes between calls sales are up too a friend of mine set up ten triple plays and won a cash award on top of all the overtime cash, are there EWAers who can't cut it..yup just like there are Union members who can't cut it..but there are more EWAers who have proved they out perform the top union members because we don't encourage slow downs and we actually come to work..imagine when they start bringing in the fresh blood off the street you know the ones who will be more than happy with the new benefit package being offered...bye bye union you won't be missed

wqg, I have seen some lowlife's hanging around bathrooms. They weren't reading bathroom walls. They were lip ready though.

@cit

Your right, you guys are exceptionally well-versed philosophers. I say this based on all the deep thought associates put in to righting on the bathroom stalls.

The OP grammar (no independent sentences. Minimal punctuation. Writes as one would speak =run-ons) exposes him as a union member making up false claims as being employed to work the strike.

Nice try, jack @ss!

If this were a boxing match the referee would stop it...And yes I'm an EWA seriously thinking of leaving.

If the union stays out longer than three weeks it's a huge mistake. By then 80 hour weeks by the EWAers will net them 6+ weeks of experience and they will start rolling... if Verizon sees the volume start to go down, they will tell the union to not bother coming back.
