Overheard a conversation that claims he is on vacation sucking down bottles of wine in Italy. Is this why the meeting was so short last Friday? He had a plane to catch?

Yeah, you can see how seriously Verizon is taking all of this. I have no intention of negotiating. This was over when the CWA walked out. CWA leadership knew this. That's why they didn't walk in August. With the fools trusted or Bernie save them. And the membership trusted the fools. What does that say for them?

Had a hearty chuckle at the VZW store I was at today. The employees were all very polite with opening doors for the customers. Of course, each one had a scowl for us as they were closing the door behind them. This one customer, probably in his mid to late 60s, stands in front of the poor soul holding the door. He stops dead in front of him, turns to us and says matter of factly, "They ARE a bunch of greedy bastards, that's for sure." Then meanders into the store to take care of his business. I thought that kid's chin was gonna get road rash from hitting the sidewalk.
And people are right to be mad. Enough is enough.
