@H3acxry-erz I think we are actually on the same team. I believe that the believable technology now is fiber to the home, FiOS. At the same time you explore wireless and whatever else is next. All I know is that we don't know yet, so you explore everything. Thats what communications companies do.

And they give value and are paid handsomely. In turn they reward their investors with dividends, and their bond holders with reliable P&I payments.

What lowmac and his pals are advocating is something very different and involves taking many wooden nickles, and leaving lots of money on the table, while offending as many customers as possible, by setting and settling on the 'One True and Future Technology'!"

The messed up part is that the customers already paid upfront for a FIBER NETWORK through the constant rate increases. It's amazing that corporations/people are allowed to do this and walk away like its nothing. Corruption and greed at its finest. I'm glad the union is standing up to this greedy/corrupt corporation. Your offending the customers when you take rate hikes for building out the business and you don't complete it, you also offend the American people when you don't pay your share of taxes, like responsible Americans do.

Wireline may have been declining but was about to turn the corner with a further rollout of FiOS. Guaranteed income to allow Lowell to take chances on his questionable risks. Instead he's turning his back on the money and only wants the risk

That in a nutshell is the nature of our business, and if you cannot see far horizons, then you shouldn't be in this business. Lowell is in the wrong business.
