Verizon disappoints. That seems to be their number one core competency.
Rather than focus on providing the best customer experience for the telecom dollar, the company would rather die its hair purple, turn LGBTXYZ and run-off to Hollywood and Silicon Valley.
So they come in on earnings exactly where expected, because that is one of the beauties of this business, but they disappointed when they did not announce finding any unicorns, despite investing tens of billions of dollars.
So they disappointed the street for treating it to an un-necessary strike drama with their union workers. Was there really any reason for not settling with the union before it came to this, relative to all of the investment dollars that have not yielded much?
