the last weekend of the month. They know most of their members care enough about their families not to risk them going uninsured and will cross. Of course some hard cores will tote the union line all the way to homelessness, still blaming the big evil corporations for their plight. I just hope that they at least make some provisions for their kids.

Call me Mr. Negative, but in what world do you see the company cracking? The Union member have already started to crossing. Members in titles that are affected most by what the company is offering! This is BEFORE the benefits are cut! Once the benefits go the flood gates will be open stopping any chance of a successful strike, not that there was much chance for a successful one anyway. The Union better wise up and get into mediation or the union will be going the way of the landline.
The first cracks appeared this morning during the earnigns call.
3 more months, and the union members start losing there houses.
The union will crawl back, and accept a worse contract then is offered now.
9 more days? No way. Give them 3 more months and the company will beg to agree to all demands.
