FIOS TV currently uses QAM technology to send the signal to the customers house. It's basically a fire hose approach and all channels are sent at once, same technology that time warner and Comcast use for TV. IPTV sends the channel The customer wants in a series of packets which is less bandwidth intensive and more customizable. Not sure if that means they will sell.
