Anyone who is familiar with what has been happening since MCI was purchased knows that the numbers have been schemed and scammed for sometime to make wireless look better than it is. The same goes for VES which has been moved around on the income statement to hide their poor results.

Who knows the truth, but management is look at 5G for the last mile.
No FIOS, not Copper, etc.
Does 5G have the bandwidth for everyone on the net at the same time.
Wireline revenue and profit are dropping, but they are still there.
If VZ wants someone to relocate, they should PAY for it. (That would be fair IMHO).
I hope the union can stop the off-shoring of there jobs.
(would be nice for the IT side also)
Medical, well, from what I have seen, your plans are great, but cost too much.
Ours is ok, but cheaper to VZ.
I would think our plan, with no monthly premiums would be a good compramise.
I would think, if someone should be re-located, VZ pays the cost
I would think a 6 - 8% raise would be good over the life of the contract.
Both sides need to give some.

Fios (fiber) is future and they already relocate as they wish. They did it back in 09 and tried again in 15. I was one of the on the so called forced transfered and they tried on me again (back to where they forced me out of). Try 400mi relocate every 3-5years. Now they just want to do it and not pay relocation costs. Thats almost 6k a move.
Wireline is profitable but in decline and it's competing in an industry that's getting squeezed by increasing content costs AND declining video subscriptions.
The union workers want guaranteed work for life even if there's no need for their jobs in the future, and they refuse to relocate if the work requires it.
That may have been fine 30 years ago when the Bell had a monopoly on phone service which everyone used. Not so today.
