I don't know one. This site is bull. I'm never visiting again. People on the site posting need to TRY TO get a job. Maybe they'll start being happier with their situation, start giving something to society, and quit living a lie. Lazy welfare trolls. Start living!
To the union people insisting no one has or will cross - WAKE UP. Is it a small percentage of the total population? Sure it is. But to sit there and say no one has because you haven't seen it is just childish. Ever think maybe you haven't seen it because you're not supposed to because they are being protected from whatever potential backlash they could face? Some have crossed, it's a fact, get over it and move on.
May 5th is coming. Then the company will have to answer for all of their misdeed, malinvestments and lack of preparedness for this strike.
Still, that is only about 2.% (give or take).
The first so called deadline is 2 weeks (last strike). We will see what happens.
The next deadline is May 1. Loss of benefits, especiallly medical, may be really hard for some.
If the strike is still going May 1, it may be a long one.
More will cross then (IMHO).
I heard 44.5 crossed
I am working with 5 techs who crossed day one. About a dozen in our organization. Not making this up.
Total cross, not a daily count. The word " total" clued me in. I was told that number 2 days ago by a director out of NY. MidAtlantic has seen the most. No unemployment to look forward to in those states. I expect it will grow every day, as each primary show ends and the extras are no longer needed for Bernie. I expect that April 30 is going to be a hard day for many. The threat of lost benefits will be too much for many. It is not just medical, and that in of itself is huge. NY really does seem to be on its own island with larger numbers committed to this fight but the same passion Is not in the mid Atlantic, MDV area. I am lucky, I leave Ewa for a 10 day vacation Friday. I hope I don't come back after vacation, but if I do, so be it. it will end one day, then time to spruce up the resume so I don't have to do this again.
SO lets get this straight because everyday it's posted on here how many crossed
day 1 600
day 2 800
day 3 1100
day 4 2400
day 5 1400
day 6 700
day 7 900
Total 7,900
Where are all these people that crossed? I've not seen one, you would think out of almost 8000 I would have at least heard of one. Also at this rate every striking worker would have crossed by next Friday.
Why don't you stop the fake B.S post's You are probably an EWA troll wanting to go home and this is your tactics.......Well your not going home....Instead of these posts why don't' you try clicking your heels together and repeat... i want to go home over and over and over.
I have heard of none
You are all mistaken, the people working are non union verizon employees from other states. no union person is crossing the picket line in the 1st week of a stupid strike. And if they are living week to week on a 1k+ salary then that's their own fault.
I don't know of any who crossed
I have been 900 well but virtually no OSP tech. Most a inside call center, single mom's and dad's who live paycheck to paycheck and just need a job
I heard some
You heard none because you dont want to hear the truth - many more to come
I heard none
I heard 1250
Most of the people who crossed are inside....Very few splicers....linecrew....fios techs have crossed
Ok....38100 didn't
