Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Union must be doing some damage based on the amount and bitterness of anti-union trolls

You guys all take after your hero the chief executive anti-union troll. It's all just union busting. Nothing new just the same old lies and half truths.

If everything is going so great you wouldn't be on this board posting, Unhappy, stressed out people post here ..Union or non Union. People who got laid off, harassed, are on strike.

I don't know if it is the same guy posting over and over again, or different ones, but we get it, you are doing fine you don't care if we call you a scab, all union people are lazy and get paid 160k a year to sleep in trucks all day. Yes yes.

Maybe deep inside some of you feel guilty, and you feel like you have to justify yourself.

The best managers have actually come out and supported the union on here. They are smart people who realize the company is at war with their own employees, and that some pushback is now required.

The worst are the ones who gloat at the misfortune of others, who are happy that people will lose their health insurance. That is not a joking matter and could be as serious as life and death. One day your death will come too, will you be laughing then?

Just so you know, me personally and many others I know would be perfectly willing to take this fight all the way and let the company lock us out if they have the balls to do it. I know I would never cross a picket line, and I know our current management have lost their way. The toxic work environment has taken its toll on many formerly loyal employees.

So let the chips fall where they may, I am staying with CWA all the way win or lose. No insult or threat you could post on here will change that.

I don't work for Verizon but my ex husband does. I depend on his child support checks every week to help support my children. I just find it incredibly selfish that these grown men can't get together and work something out in a reasonable and friendly manner. Why do they have to drag things on for weeks when if they would try and work together and talk things out they could be done in a matter of a few days. Problem is no one wants the other to get the upper hand, no one wants to back down. But what they don't realize is they are hurting so many people by being stubborn. Families depend on that paycheck every week, some people need that paycheck to help out sick family members, etc... Seems to me these executives and these unions really don't give a crap about the workers or they would have something worked out by now. It's all about having the upper hand when it needs to be about the workers being able to support their families. So come on you corporate big wigs do the right thing and get this mess straightened out! The sooner the better. People need to eat and pay their bills.

OP is uselessly meaningless. Same 'logic' could be applied in reverse. Union guys should stick to letting their bosses think. You just stomp around in circles and regurgitate the silly slogans and rhetoric they tell you to.

You wonderful union people should not be here either, you should be on the line. In three weeks you better be looking for another job. Although I doubt you would make it a week working at Lowes. They would actually expect you to work. Keep posting as your Union takes you down, but they still get paid.

Have a great day.

I'm posting here because I have completed all my work for the day and have nothing to do. The union is too lazy to picket so no fun watching them do nothing as usal. I'm so stressed, no lazy asscraft guy complaining, no union problems, nobody whining. Yes the stress is terrible. Stress me out some more and stay out another month.

I'd put my money on a 'false flag' operation with damage done by perhaps the company to regain some PR that they have lost since the beginning of the strike.
