Leave your number on the wall

Maybe you will get a call

If we need a humper, if we need a dumbo

To confuse, We talk mumbo jumbo

Union mumbo jumbo

Keep on paying those dues

You know with us you can't lose

Time for us Union leaders to take a snooze

Remember, keep on paying us those union dues

The union leadership motto, cruise and snooze.

Oh man. If you guys go on strike we are so screwed in IT. literally Nobody is left here. We have 5k+ in India waiting to "Take The Calls" TO DO WHAT?? The backup plans or laughable. Verizon will cause it's very own next outage.

I was told to "make my self available on the phone for the next several weekends." Again, TO DO WHAT? tell you all that y'all are sc-aaaaa-rewed? ok I will.

The company could never handle a strike. Sad thing is, neither could the union. The higher ups are rubbin mushroom heads with VZ and most of the sellouts I work with every day are pussies that wont stand up for themselves. The only way anything would get done during a strike would be with contractors because the cubelings inside would wither from the stress of actual labor, manual or otherwise. Yeah, that is a shot, but theres nothing wrong with choosing to not be a ditch digger. Its just that when it comes time to pitch in, youre in the weeds. Anyway both sides will reap what they sow......

The company is in a very weak position and could not handle a strike longer than a couple of weeks.

the company is NOT in a very weak position.

The union is in a very very weak position

A strike will be ignored by VZ.

Contractors will be brought in quickly.

The offer you have now, will be forced on you.

You waited for over a year last time.

You will do ok, in the next contract, but it will be Oct Nov before it is done.

That actually makes a lot of sense. The company is in a very weak position now.

The deal is basically done. No major changes in work rules....still keeping our pension plan....double time...2% raise per year....The only hold up is Healthcare premiums...

Hey it's Lowell again. No one is striking, get back to work. The unions do what I want or they cease to exist. But don't worry, they will be allowed to keep collecting their dues from you.

You didnt vote to strike dumb ass You vote to give them permission to strike if they feel its needed. They cant just call a strike without the majority voting yes to be able to call a strike.

It was just some more wear red because it will show them we mean business. Blah blah blah we are working for you yada yada yada bullshit. The usual dog and pony show.

These dick heads don't know what to do next. Already worked most of a year without a contract, waiting for the Bern to save us. It's funny that we voted to strike but only to be told not yet yet yet yet. Work that OT because that will show them. If they want us to stick together we need more communication because at this time I will pay my dues but f--- doing anything else for these clowns.
