The CWA District 1/IBEW Local 2213 and IBEW New England Regional Committees met with the Company last week at the Rye Town Hilton to exchange proposals on Call Sharing.
This week there was a high level meeting where both sides agreed to continue bargaining to see if both parties can address each others critical issues.
This means we don't have any choice but keep nodding our heads
If Verizon continues to refuse to address our critical issues and insists on keeping their many retrogressive demands on the table we will have no choice but to strike this Company.
This really means "please please help us out we don't want to strike. We just like talking tough but are scared"
We met with the Company today regarding Call Sharing and will continue to review proposals through the week.

Members should remain on high alert for a possible strike.
