Hahaha - HUM is DUMB. Another Marni masterpiece!
The issue with HUM is more than just rumor. Apparently Ford vehicles are affected too. This could turn into an interesting class action

I read on a Nissan Titan forum that HUM is doing damage to transmissions. Putting HUM into the OBD port will damage the TCM (transmission control module), another failure.
Remember! Even a broken clock is right twice a day. These idiots have so much money that eventually, by sheer dum doggedness and natural incompetence, they will buy a company that has a killer app.
But, but, how could it fail? It was like a Silicon Valley startup! People worked nights, people worked weekends! It was like a skunkworks! White boards were everywhere! Everyone carried a spare marker and a rag in their back pocket! How could it have gone so horribly wrong?
