Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Verizon - WSA (Work Stoppage Agreement)

Under the WSA (Work Stoppage Agreement) The Union must agree not to leave an "unnecessary" work load...So if the work load is high, the Union must reduce the installation orders to a level the company deems fair.

The Union also agrees to assist in "technical issues" what ever that means. The Union must "assist" in any emergency declaration the company might declare. and again this is under the replacement contract.

There are plenty more and it's absurdly crazy, but if any of these agreements are violated, the Union will be held in account for unfair bargaining.

You know a commenter is a corporate shill when they're bugged by union bosses making two times what the average worker makes, but they're not bugged that the top few Verizon executives make 50 million dollars a year, as they try to take benefits away from the worker.

I agree with what you said I'm going to ask the president of the union in an email and I will post his response I need answers I can't live my life trying to work every hour of overtime just to say for this cool" at big strike we're going to have this is bull Loney we need to do something either we sign or let strike. They tell us to talk to management say we want to fear contract this and that because what I've been saying that's my management team since June we want to fear contract enough talk already bit tired of listening to my rhetoric it's all bull day no way not going on strike a lot of the Manders get together and laugh about their EWA assignment. They know the union is too scared to go on strike in every day we delay it it's more proof this post prove that all there is the reason why we are not on strike

The union is a business just like Verizon I wouldn't be surprised if these knuckleheads had something up their sleeve's again they were a business the top people get paid a lot of money $150,000 plus a year the people were supposed to be representing us in again we voted to strike and they do want nothing nothing nothing except waste money for campaign contributions. Ask your self why have we not going to strike this is may be the reason somebody who is the insider probably has a separation they didn't want us to know about it because he would go ape shit this something funny going on over here in this time is not Verizon that's trying to screw us is the union we need to do man are you wanting to have our back and let's move forward damn strike enough is enough is that not what we preach and practice enough is enough?

OP you are so full of shit. Not ONE person from the union or management has EVER heard of this WSA. You say it's in the contract - that every union member has access too , including all the Letters of Agreement. It aint in there. you hhave supplied NO proof of this WSA ,not a link or anything. Just some made up verbage. So until you can ,please go jerk off in a corner and sit in the sticky puddle. you'd be more useful doing that.

I would guess that person that keeps bringing up the fictional WSA is a EWA-SCAB that is hoping to be RIF'd before EWA.

Ok. This trolling is hilarious, this person with the WSA posts must have a degree in psychological warfare, or social engineering. Look at those view counts!

How many union people have reviewed the contract, or asked their stewards about these WSA posts? How many non-union people are asking about this.

Hahahaha, brilliant you baiting a$$hat, this is f*cktardery at its finest.
