Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Is it true that Follett is closing down the ADC after losing KIVA to Amazon ?? I was told morale is very low among the employees left in ADC .

ADC is critical to Follett going forward, they now realize the importance of the wholesale business. It is unfortunate we lost the use of Kiva since Amazon bought them and it will be a significant project to replace. Efficient fulfillment is critical so you must have it. Morale is low everywhere since they continually cut people and benefits.

It's not closing until it does close. All of AP is moving but maybe not everybody is moving. Nobody lost Kiva to Amazon but Amazon did buy Kiva. Maybe joining a union might not be a bad idea. The results will be the same but more leverage to negotiate a fair separation. What was RC favorite line, there will be Hell to pay! Low morale - REALLY?

Kiva is owned by Amazon. Follett's contract for use of it ends soon, so yes we will loose the Kiva system.

Was told they are looking into other systems to replace Kiva.

First off no one has lost kiva to amazon. Second the adc is no closing. Get your facts straight.

Morale is very low is a pan-Follett condition.
