Yippee EWA changed. Lowell needs some volunteers to spruce up his Florida Keys winter home and I got picked. Nice! 4 weeks living it up. Unlikely, but you wouldn't do anything silly boyz and girls like actually going on strike would you? What am I thinking? You ain't going out, your one year anniversary is coming up, right? Silly me. I have been thinking the same thing since last August. There is no or little money in the fund and if they call a strike they will get found out. Someone had their hand in the cookie jar!
Has anyone checked the actual balance of the strike fund lately? Starting to think this is the issue?
Wow it's amazing that we once had the power to negotiate and protect our benefits from these greedy pigs. In the old days we wouldn't stand for this. Why do we pay for dues? We are without contract and protection but the locals get their money either way. Time calls to ask out stewards for answers. Enough is enough with this crap. The lack of updates and progress is killing me. It's time for our brothers and sisters to stick together and demand something be agreed to from the union we belong too. All we get it these updates saying we may go out, don't buy stuff, do overtime and quit loving your life. I want to spend time with my family period. This is why i am work. I don't want to be told that this may happen so grow a pair and do something if not shut up and let's get this contract sign.
What good does calling do? There are no real updates. Doom and gloom all around and no real answers. Members are stuck between a rock and a hard place; while the company doesn't have to give anything up and the union continues to collect dues while saying that they are doing all they can.
