@fdi - Smart Move, I did the same in 2011 - no days off - bank the cash and prepare for the RIF

Let us see what numbers today brings.
As of sunday morning it was 832 that crossex. Mostly the "right to work" states. Ny / nj do not cross so easily... especially IBEW.
I have only reported what I have seen with my own eyes, not what corporate is feeding us.
Not a single word in the news. So someone is being untruthful. In my experience the company is more untruthful than the union. I am a manager.
Last count of union members that returned was 1400 those are team members
It's real. At the call centers a few more show up every day.
Can anyone switch me ns days? I need off on Wednesday.
This crossing sh-t is company propaganda....I've heard of no one crossing.
I'm staying too because I expect a RIF and want to bank as much cash as I can. Supervisor told me I can volunteer to not take my days off after 13 days and don't have to take my leave home when it's my turn so I can just keep banking until I absolutely need a day off. Last EWA I did the same thing, never took a day off.
Good lord. The comment of dnv sums up the Union mentality in one sentence. Trash.
I'm in VA and when I arrived Thursday morning 2 union guys were there that never went out. 2 girls and 1 guy showed up at noon Saturday. They said some of their union friends were 'taking a long weekend and coming in monday'...we'll see. I have heard there are others in other garages as well but since I don't have personal verification of that I'm not sure. My supervisor said if that is thee case one or two of us might be able to go home but I'm volunteering to stay.
@gkb, how can you expect us to picket when your wife keeps insisting we come over for a gangbang?
All company lies from paid shills and trolls. There are exactly ZERO news stories about anyone crossing, which of course would be big news. Instead the company is crapping in its proverbial pants that when they announce earnings this week, the two questions they are afraid to talk about will be the only questions that the analysts will want answers to: "What about the strike, and what is the impact of go90? A few weeks later they will have to answer to the shareholders about why the company was unprepared for a strike?
You can see it in the head count on the lines, they are very thin! Where are all the strikers? Minimal coverage at the CO's, and a heavy concentration at the Wireless Stores because there are not enough bodies! The numbers are not adding up!
It time for the Local to start "strongly advising" their Members that they better show up and picket, or be brought "up on charges" and "fined" in small claims court.
The people crossing are the ones who everybody complaints about. No worries
They can cross. Vz can screw employees. But customers are not going to stand for it.
Many more expected to cross on Monday and return to work. About 700 have crossed so far.
Quantum
As soon as another communications CEO steps up and supports the working class Vz will be knocked down to sprint levels
Its a lie. There are no news stories about anyone crossing. But lies and anti-Americanism is what Verizon is all about now.
